At the Dec. 28 Commissioner’s Court, Sheriff Dan Butts presented his monthyl department report.According to Butts, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 576 calls for service and traveled 19,901 miles.Their average response time to priority calls was 14 minutes and 50 seconds.They had a total of 10 arrests — six felony and four misdemeanor.They had 26 agency assists and 10 public assists.They investigated 50 property crimes and 70 crimes against persons.They received 118 animal-related calls, and 37 dogs were picked up.Their average dog population was 24.The Sheriff’s office responded to 3 calls within the City limits.Total incoming and outgoing calls for dispatch ...
