Sheriff’s Arrests

Editor’s note – Readers are reminded that an arrest is not an indication of guilt. People are presumed innocent after an arrest until convicted.

Although reasonable care is taken, clerical errors may exist.

In the section where those individuals who are arrested and booked are listed, law enforcement entities are denoted by the following abbreviations: SO – Sheriff’s Office; BTM – Bandera Town Marshal; DPS – Texas Department of Public Safety; PCT – Precinct/ Constable; TPW – Texas Parks and Wildlife.

During the week of Sept. 30-Oct. 6, the following individuals were arrested:

Michael Learned, 31, of San Antonio, arrested Sept. 30 by SO on a motion-to-revoke-probation warrant and on a failure-to-appear warrant, released Oct. 2; Alfredo Vallejo, 28, of Bandera, arrested Sept.

30 by SO on three traffic warrants and a failure-to-appear warrant, released Oct. 1; Joey Smith, 47, of Lockhart, arrested Oct.

1 by SO on an off-bond warrant; Crystal Anderson, 35, of Bandera, arrested Oct.

1 by SO for possession of a dangerous drug, released Oct. 1; Robert Lacina, 38, of Bandera, arrested Oct. 1 by SO for possession of a dangerous drug, released Oct. 1; Bradley Kitchens, 21, of Bandera, arrested Oct. 1 by DPS for criminal trespass, released Oct. 2; Kathy Leyva, 52, of Bandera, arrested Oct. 2 by SO on a warrant from the probation department; Kaitlyn Graves, 25, of Medina, arrested Oct. 2 by DPS for DWI, four traffic warrants, unlawful carrying and failure to identify, released Oct. 3; Jamie Hallberg, 30, of Lakehills, arrested Oct. 3 by SO for evading arrest, released Oct. 4; Christopher Benner, 30, of Bandera, arrested Oct. 4 by SO for possession of a controlled substance, released Oct. 5; Vanessa Hamilton, 43, of Bandera, arrested Oct. 5 by SO on a warrant from an outside agency, released Oct. 5; Juanita Lopez, 44, of San Antonio, arrested Oct. 5 by SO for possession of a controlled substance, released Oct. 6; Tanner Pointon, 23, of San Antonio, arrested Oct. 6 by DPS for DWI, released Oct. 6; Jesus Arreola Castellanos, 26, of Bandera, arrested Oct. 6 by SO for DWI, released Oct. 6; Bryan Keese, 19, of Medina, arrested Oct. 6 by SO for driving under the influence-minor, minor in possession and duty upon striking a fixed object, released Oct. 6.

As of Oct. 7, the Bandera County Jail had 52 inmates, including four from Real County, four from Medina County, four from Frio County and one from Edwards County.
