The Bandera County Retired Teachers met at the Mayan Ranch for their January 2023 meeting, during which Dr. Amy Jo Baker, TRTA District 20 President, spoke to the group about her five goals for the district.One of Baker’s main goals was to get the legislature to pass a “cost of living adjustment.” Baker remarked that retired teachers had not had a COLA for 18 years.
