The Bandera County Republican Women did not let a booming thunderstorm interrupt its activities on Thursday, Sept. 3 at the Bandera American Legion Post 157 hall. After the meeting was called to order by club President Carolyn Rutherford, Renée Yanta, the Republican candidate for chief justice for the state’s 4th Court of Appeals, spoke about her qualifications for election to the appellate court.
