New piano highlights museum’s piano show

The Bandera Natural History Museum hosted the“A Taste of Jazz” program performed by local pianist Doreen Howard of Mico, Texas.Mrs. Howard, sister of Museum Board member Kathy Giles, is an advanced level pianist and delighted the crowd with a variety of popular jazz tunes which exemplified each period in the development of the genre.Mrs. Howard was the first musician to play the Museum’s new large baby grand piano.
