The Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) and Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC) recently awarded a $3,683 grant to the Lakehills Area Library for new mobile shelves and a $6,956 grant to the Frontier Times museum for energy efficient windows. Museum Executive Director Rebecca Norton said the new windows, which will be double-paned and contain an ultraviolet ray filter, should be installed by early 2021.
