MISD lowers tax rate, increases budget

Medina Independent School District trustees approved the district’s 2019-2020 budget and reduced its property tax rate during two recent meetings. The school board approved the 2019-20 budget of $3.88 million at a regular board meeting on Aug. 28, and it went into effect on Sept. 1. The new budget is slightly higher than the 2018-19 budget of $3.87 million.
