The annual Medina River Cleanup regularly scheduled for the first weekend in May is on hold for the present due to health concerns from the pandemic, but the Medina River Protection fund is encouraging small groups to voluntarily do cleanup along the river. Acting upon expert advice from the Texas River Protection Board, the event has not yet been approved by the Medina River Protection Fund.
