Dog trainer, veteran and author Dennis Blocker will be at the Medina Community Library on Saturday, Jan. 18, to discuss his book “The Dogs I’ve Known in 2 Wars – Book 1: Iraq.” Blocker, who trained and worked with explosive-sniffing dogs in war zones, also will be available to sign copies of books that visitors have purchased during a library visit that starts at 10:30 a.m. On Thursday, Jan. 16, the library will host a free class called “How to Download EBooks” that also will begin at 10:30 a.m. Those taking part will be shown how to download ebooks into their smartphones,
