The Bandera American Legion Auxiliary sponsored a car show at the city park on Saturday, October 8, featuring 24 car entries and three motorcycle entries.Organizer Joe Ortega remarked, “I am really pleased; we had a great turnout. There was a lot going on in the area. We had people from Hondo and Kerrville as well as Bandera.”The show brought out many different types of cars from foreign cars to hotrods to sports cars and trucks. The Legion Riders Motorcycle Club assisted in the motorcycle category.The legion sold barbeque plates and sausage wraps to the patrons walking through the show. Good Times ...
