The Bandera County Retired Teachers Association (BRTA) heard from Helping Hand Board Member Marianne Sandidge at their latest monthly meeting.Sandidge spoke about the organization’s resources and services like the thrift store, the food pantry, clothes closet, job interview assistance, school supplies, utility help, medical supplies, medical referrals, Thanksgiving food boxes, Christmas food boxes and Spirits of Christmas toy drive.She also related Helping Hand assisted 350 individuals last month with food, clothes and utility assistance.
