A food handlers course accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services will be offered by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Bandera County on Thursday, Oct. 29, beginning at 9 a.m. at the recreation center at Mansfield Park, 2886 Highway 16 North outside of Bandera. The course, called “Food Safety: It’s in Your Hands,” is a nearly two-hour course required for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food, officials said.
