A food handlers course accredited by the Texas Department of State Health Services is being offered by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Bandera County on April 7 starting at 9 a.m. at the Mansfield Rec Center, 2886 Hwy 16. The course, titled “Food Safety: It’s in Your Hands” will last between one and two hours, will provide a basic overview of food safety practices necessary to ensure food is safely served at an establishment.
