The City of Bandera is seeking applicants for three seats on the Economic Development Corp.’s board of directors. The board is responsible for overseeing the expenditure of revenues generated from a half-a-cent city sales tax to help improve the economy of the city, the strengthen businesses that contribute to that economy and to pursue other duties assigned by City Council. Those interested in serving on the board have until July 16 to apply. Two of the seats that are open are required to be filled by city residents, and the third can be filled by a county resident.
