After reviewing the qualifications and questioning two candidates, the Bandera City Council voted in new Economic Development Corporations (EDC) member Andrea Jankoski during their Feb. 7 regular meeting.Jankoski fills a seat that became available after President Jared Wilcox resigned and was replaced by Bill Walker, leaving a vacant seat.She works as Assistant Auditor for Bandera County, is a former business owner, formerly served on the EDC for two years and was previously appointed EDC President for a short time.Jankoski told the council infrastructure is an important foundation of the EDC, allowing the ability of the businesses to move around.“There is ...
