The Bandera Chamber of Commerce celebrated the conclusion of Texas Chamber of Commerce Week with an open house at their headquarters in Bandera.

Governor Greg Abbott designated October 18 – 22 as a week to honor the support the 600 Chambers in Texas give small businesses across the state.

Executive Director Tammi Boultinghouse commented, “Our Open House, held during Texas Chamber Week, gave us an opportunity to build new partnerships and discuss our goals and future plans with attendees in a casual welcoming environment. Many were willing to share their vision for Bandera and provided very useful feedback.”

“The people of Bandera County bring strong, valuable assets to our community, many in the form of knowledge and skills. By harnessing and supporting these assets, we can assist our local businesses and watch them flourish and find success here in Bandera County. That is what we do. That is our mission,” she said.

Composed of over 325 businesses, non-profits and individuals the Chamber actively engagea in promoting community events as well as its own activities, cohosting monthly “Corkpoppers”with local businesses to give locals a chance to network and enjoy professional development.
