Bandera County’s burn ban was reinstated last Thursday, December 10, following a unanimous vote from Bandera County’s commissioners at Regular Meeting of the Commissioner’s Court of Bandera County.
The ban prohibits anyone from burning trash or brush piles unless they can be placed in a container with a fine-mesh cover before ignited.
Some exceptions exist for fires authorized by the state for firefighter training, mining, public utility and pipeline operations, the planting and harvesting of crops and for prescribed burns that comply with the Natural Resources Code.
