Bandera Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Jerry Hollingsworth has received a second extension on his contact since starting as superintendent on Aug. 1, 2018. At their Jan. 13 school board meeting, BISD trustees gave Hollingsworth his annual evaluation and decided to extend his three-year contract for a year, to Jan. 31, 2023. Trustees also gave the superintendent a raise from $145,000 to $149,500.
