BISD seeks direction on pre-K changes

The Bandera Independent School District is seeking help from parents and guardians in determining how many full day pre-kindergarten classes it will offer in the upcoming school year. It had been offering half-day pre-kindergarten classes to 4-year-old students for the last several years, but regulations that were passed by the state legislature last year as part of House Bill 3 require that all pre-kindergarten classes be converted to full day classes for the 2020-2021 school year.
