Bandera High School graduate Jessica Chesnut was recently named to the Dean’s List at Texas Tech University. This honor is bestowed on students with a grade point average higher than 3.5. Chesnut, a freshman at Texas Tech, has changed her major from kinesiology to community, family and addiction sciences since winning the honor. She received an invitation to join the National Society of Collegiate Scholars as a result of earning a place on the Dean’s List.
