KatNip Productions, an immersive theater company based out of California, was preparing its latest production, “Whiskey Business,” and was in need of a western setting.
“We were doing research on small famous western towns, and Bandera was the most attractive, especially as the Cowboy Capital of the World,” said Katy Foley.
Foley, who founded the award-winning KatNip Productions with her business partner Lena Valentine after feeling that immersive theater needed more comedic outings, said that Bandera made the most sense for “Whiskey Business,” which sees a newcomer named Cletus ride into town.
