The girls and boys Bandera Bulldog Cross Country teams will compete at the 2020 UIL State Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, with the girls competing at 11:45 a.m. and the boys competing at 12:30 p.m.
Tickets for the 2020 UIL Cross Country Championship are sold by car at $25 per vehicle with up to two people and $40 per vehicle with two or more persons.
Since no cash transactions will be available on site, it is recommended to purchase tickets online and in advance bv visiting www. uiltexas.org/cross-country/state/corss-country-state-meet-spectator-information.
Tickets may be bought on site with a credit or debit card.
Old Settlers Park is located at 3300 E Palm Valley Blvd. in Round Rock,
Spectators can enter the park beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The two cross country teams advanced to the state competition after competing in the 2020 Regional IV Regional Championships in Corpus Christi on Tuesday, Nov. 10,
At that regional meet, the Lady Bulldogs finished in second place behind Tuloso-Midway with 65 points, qualifying them for the state meet. The boys finished second place behind Fredericksburg with 105 points, advancing to the state meet for the first time since 2015.
At that individual meet, Raelynn Butler placed 4th and Morgan Cole placed 7th. Both received medals.
Elsewhere down the line, Makayla Gonzales finished 23rd, Hannah Edwards 24th, Danielle Gonzales 36th, Grace Bankston 37th and Trinity Butler 53rd.
Meanwhile, boys cross country runner Logan Dybowski finished 12th overall, Braden Cox 13th and Ethan Brown 18th. Jacob Haas and Sam Nimmrichter finished in the top 40.
