Area libraries enact curbside service

Both the Medina Community Library and the Lakehills Area Library will be closed to in-person visits for more than a week as part of the effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus, but they both will still get books, DVDs and other resources out to their customers through curbside service, officials said. Medina library officials have announced plans to cancel programs that were on the schedule and get books to patrons by curbside delivery through April 4, while the Lakehills library has taken the same steps a day longer, through April 5.
