In late 2021, Bandera residents and League Reps Kenneth and Charlene Seth invited pool-playing locals to join in forming teams for the Bandera division of the San Antonio American Poolplayers Association (APA).Since then, at participating Bandera pubs, an average of four to six teams have wielded their stick skills against each other in weekly 8-Ball and 9-Ball match competitions.The participating pubs, some of whom represent and sponsor their home teams, are the Wild Horse Saloon, the Red Horse Saloon, the Kickback Korner and the 11th Street Cowboy Bar.
