Polish conference coming to Bandera

Bandera’s Polish roots will be celebrated when the Polish American Council of Texas comes to town on Saturday, Nov. 16 The group, which goes by the acronym PACT, chose to hold its annual meeting this year in Bandera, founded in 1855 and the second oldest of 25 Polish settlements in Texas, said PACT President Dr. Jim Mazurkiewicz.
