Next week, from Monday, Sept. 16 through Sept. 20 is Homecoming Week at Bandera High School, starting with the Homecoming Parade on Monday beginning at 6:30 p.m. and ending with the homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 20, against the Comfort Bobcats.
The Bandera High cheerleaders have selected the daily themes that will apply during the week.
Monday will be Muscle Monday, where students and staff can recognize their favorite teams or sports, Tuesday, Sept. 17, will be Tacky Tuesday, and Wednesday, Sept. 18, will be Way-Back Wednesday, which calls on different grade levels to dress in the style of different decades.
Freshmen can take on a 50s look during the day, sophomores will honor the 60s and juniors will dress in the style of the 70s. Seniors are asked to dress in a 1980s style as part of the celebration.
Thursday is dedicated to the theme of Small Town Texas, and Friday, game day, will be B-Town Blue & White Day, filling the high school with its official colors.
The Bandera High School Star Steppers Dance Team also have homecoming t-shirts on sale. The shirts cost $15 apiece.
Anyone interested in purchasing a t-shirt should contact the team’s sponsor Fay Patkowski at email@example.com, or call 830-460-3898, extension 3011.
