Almost 160 women were treated to a Valentine’s Dinner by the Bandera United Methodist Church on Saturday night.After the dinner accompanied by many homemade desserts, the group was treated to a presentation by speaker Vicar Katie Evans from Comfort’s Immanuel Lutheran Church.After the meal, Evans spoke about Brene Brown’s book Daring Greatly. Evans took major concepts from the book and teased out relevant meaning from the passages. Brown is a long-time researcher from Houston on shame, and trust, and wholeheartedness.
