With reference to the exoneration of Donald Trump - Mitt Romney, a Republican from Utah, voted to convict President D. J. Trump.
All the other Republicans voted to exonerate the president. Romney said it was a difficult decision to not vote with his party, but it was the right thing to do.
I agree with senator Romney. The legal case was pretty straight forward.
For all of the other Republicans Senators, voting for acquittal, I suspect, was an easy decision. The Republican senators like their jobs and want to keep them.
Now, you might think that two or three Republicans would follow their conscience and vote “guilty.” Nope. No way.
This is Washington, D.C. These people are needy and greedy.
