Mike proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. His service reflected the core of his character: doing what was right without seeking recognition and standing steadfast in his commitment to others, especially his wife, Alexia Magee, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. Their union was one of deep devotion, rooted in patience and mutual respect. Their bond stood as a testament to enduring love, shown not only through words but through everyday acts of care, sacrifice, and companionship.

As a father and grandfather, Mike was a grounding presence—someone who listened more than he spoke, whose wisdom was found in empathy, and whose love was shown through quiet consistency.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Alexia Magee; his brother-in-law, Charles Katolick; his daughter, Mira Magee; and his grandchildren, Jeff and Madi.

A memorial service will be held on January 31st 2026 from 2pm-4pm at the Pipe Creek General Store and Dance Hall: 9878 Tx-16 S, Pipe Creek, Tx 78063.
