DIANA NELL REEVES MAHER
She was born on October 6, 1943, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Earl Edger Reeves and Irene Mitty Colbath. Diana graduated from Harlandale High School in San Antonio.
Throughout her life, Diana held various positions, including at H&R Block, Pico, and The Barrel House, and she also worked as a substitute teacher for Boerne ISD. She made her home in Pipe Creek for over 40 years, where she enjoyed country living—riding horses and caring for her many farm animals.
Diana had a love for quilting and cherished time spent with her son, family, and friends. She will be remembered for her heart of gold, her kind spirit, and the countless ways she helped others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Reeves; nephew, David Lee Reeves; uncle, Marion Colbath; and aunt, Ruth Miller.
Diana is survived by her son, Duane Maher and wife, Amy; granddaughter, Madyson Tausch-Maher; brother, Daniel Reeves; nephews, Daniel Reeves Jr. and Doug Reeves; niece, Pam Reeves; and many cousins and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 18, 2025, at Wright’s Funeral Parlor in Kerrville. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2 in San Antonio. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Wright’s Funeral Parlor, Kerrville.
