She was a beloved wife, Mom, Memaw, and friend.

Nan created a home where everyone felt welcomed. She cherished her time spent with family and grandchildren, loved gardening, humming birds, and the color red. She was an active member of the Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church and was a greeter at the Boerne Walmart for 15 years following retirement after more than 30 years at Texas Department of Transportation.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ed C. Moody.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Pam) Strosser, her son Ed C. Moody II (wife Janice); her grandchildren Waylon Strosser (wife Rosa), Justin Strosser, Kaitlin Cullum (husband Russ), and Emily Moody (fiancé Finn); her brother Emmett and sister Ann; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nan’s love and legacy will live on in all who knew her.

The family wishes to thank Cathy and Jackie Witt for their loving care and support, as well as Bandera County EMS and Pipe Creek Volunteer Fire Department for their quick response and services.

Per Nan’s wishes, a private service will be held at Fort Sam Houston at a later date under the direction of Funeral Caring USA in San Antonio, Texas In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nan’s memory to Pipe Creek Presbyterian Church, 8589 Highway 16, Pipe Creek, Texas 78063 or any charity of your choice.
