Cissy married David Elkins in September 1985, and then had two loving children, Chris and Amy, and gained 5 stepchildren, Mike, David, Chris, Eve and Nathan Elkins. They moved to Pebble Beach and enjoyed spending family time on Medina Lake. She was a great mother to all. She was involved in her kids’ sports activities as someone always had to be someplace for something.

As the kids grow-up and started their own families, she and David found a love for Golf. This led to their decision to build a house in Bandera Texas on the Fly L Golf Course. Her joy in life was shopping. If you ever wanted to know who had the best deals, she was the one to ask. She was a dear friend to many along the way. She will be missed greatly by all.

Cissy was preceded I n death by her parents, Cecil and Virgil Cifers and husband, David Elkins.

She is survived by Daughter Amy Maher (Duane), Son Chris Kiolbassa (Lori), Brother Dan Cifers (Donna), Step-grandson, Nathan Boone and Step-Granddaughter Lori Boone and numerous extended families.

Visitation will be Friday, July 18th, 2025, from 5-7 P.M. at the Bandera Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2 P.M. at Bandera Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Bandera Cemetery in Bandera Texas.
