Patricia “Patsy” Antill of Lakehills passed away on December 30, 2021, at the age of 68.

Patsy was born in Yonkers, NY on June 7, 1953 and moved to Houston, TX as a child, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1971. After marriage to Jeffrey Antill, she briefly pursued theatre arts at Blinn College until a job opportunity led her to pursue accounting.

Patsy spent most of her professional life in service to others because of her superior bookkeeping skills, but her passion for her animals and gardening never waned. For nearly two decades, breeding and showing Cocker Spaniels gave her the kind of joy that was later re placed by her landscaping and gardening talent.

Happy to call Pipe Creek her home since 1992, Patsy’s involvement in community events brought her many friends. Patsy spent many wonderful years involved in Bandera 4-H and attending horse shows around the Hill Country with her niece Laura.

Most memorable about being with Patsy was how contagious her laugh was, dwarfed only by her memorable smile. She loved to spend time with friends and was the ultimate host of many unforgettable Memorial Day weekend get-togethers.

She is survived by her beloved niece, Laura and husband, Jamie, and their two children, Gunnar Wade and Annabelle who love and miss their Nana.

Words cannot convey the gratitude of those who loved Patsy for the care she received from hospice and at Stewarts Care Home.

Even in death, Patsy wanted to serve others and willed her body to the Baylor Medical Program. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patsy’s memory to an animal shelter or 4-H program of your choosing.
