Jordan chosen as new City Administrator
The Bandera City Council unanimously approved the appointment of David L. Jordan as City Administrator during its regular meeting last Tuesday, August 24.
He will be the first to hold the position since November 2020.
Jordan served in the Air Force for 25 years, which includes service in military law enforcement.
He brings to Bandera many years of experience in civic service and municipal management.
Most recently, David worked as the Assistant City Manager/ Director of Public Safety in La Marque, TX.
Mr. Jordan said he plans to prepare a balanced budget to propose to the City Council, update the Emergency Management Plan, seek funding and grant opportunities for the water system and wastewater treatment plant and oversee the implementation of the seven-year street repair project.
He added his objective is to establish relationships and collaborations at the local and regional levels while onboarding into his role.
