The Medina boys basketball team went 1-2 in recent district games bringing their district record to 2-2. Medina travelled to Knippa on Monday, Jan. 4, and the Rockcrushers dumped the Bobcats 81-57. On Tuesday, Jan. 5, Medina stopped Nueces Canyon at the Bobcats’ gym 58-42. Friday, Jan. 8, Utopia jumped on Medina and went on to win 65-55. As in Knippa, the Bobcats played a sluggish first half and dug a hole they couldn’t get out of. Medina’s district record is 2-2.
