Medina’s varsity basketball team played their first away game yesterday against Brackett. The results for that game were not available by the Bulletin’s publishing deadline.
The Bobcats went into their Tuesday night game with a 1-2 record.
They won their season opener against Comstock 63-26, but lost their next two games, 99-27 against McMullen County and 75-48 against Our Lady of the Hills Hawks in Kerrville on Nov. 24.
At the game played November 24, James Harris led the Hawks in scoring with 22 points and Sam Ibarra chipped in 20 points. Zach Bryant paced the Bobcats with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
