The Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District has scheduled a Thursday, Sept. 5, public hearing on a proposed increase in the district’s property tax rate next year. The proposed tax rate recommended by the district’s board would exceed 42 cents per $100 valuation compared to the current rate of just over 40 cents per $100 valuation, the river authority has reported.
