The active COVID-19 case count in Bandera County remained at zero as of Monday, Oct. 5, even as the total COVID caseload jumped by 19 from Sept. 28 to 197, records from the Texas Department of State Health Services showed.
All 19 of the cases added to the county in that time were considered “recovered” cases. The state said Bandera County had 194 recovered cases as of Monday. That category has been growing steadily since Sept. 20, when 111 cases were considered recovered.
