The life-saving exploits of the late Marine Corps Master Sgt. Rodney L. Buentello will be recounted on Saturday, Aug. 15, during a memorial that coincides with the installation of a concrete bench near the flagpole and plaque in Bandera City Park that honors Buentello for the sacrifices he made in the park more than four years ago.
