Boat parade planned on Medina Lake

Owners of boats who want to take part in a parade to celebrate the Fourth of July are invited to a new boat parade organized by the conservation group called Save Medina Lake that will be held on Medina Lake on Saturday, July 4. The parade is scheduled to start about 10 a.m. outside the buoys in front of the lake’s dam in Mico and to travel about three miles around the lake’s shoreline before it ends in the area of Mormon Bluff, organizers said.
