Workforce Solutions Alamo released information last month indicating that the Bandera County unemployment rate rose to 9.4% in April, far higher than the 4.7% rate that had been reported in March, after adjustments from the Bureau of Labor Statistics were accounted for.
A news release from Workforce Solutions said Bandera County’s unemployment rate registered lower than the overall jobless rate of 13% in April for the 13-county Workforce Solutions Alamo area, which includes Bandera County.
McMullen County registered the lowest unemployment rate amongst the WSA counties at 2.6% while Bexar County registered the highest rate at 13.7%, the release said.
