Bobcat baseball began district play in Menard on Friday, March 22, with a win.Medina’s bats started slow in the first inning but came in strong in the following innings to seal the victory-by-ten run rule at the conclusion of the fifth inning.The final score was Medina 22, Menard 2.Senior Branson Wickham led the offense, hitting two three-run home runs in the contest. Medina High School sophomore also Allison Watts had a big weekend.She advanced, and will be representing Medina, at the Texas High School State Rodeo finals in the goat tying event.
