The Bandera Shotgun Team had 20 team members sign up for the Comal Shoot to warm up for State.

Despite the 100-degree days, the Bandera kids did an outstanding job of making Bandera County proud.

A group of over 20 of this team is going to the Texas State Shotgun Shootout on July 20th, through July 23rd to compete with every shotgun team in the State of Texas. Keep them in your prayers and wish them the best of luck.

Our personal best shooters:

Garrison Thomas, Senior 1 - shot his first perfect 50 in skeet for a total of 96/100, Sporting Clays 85/100 and Whiz Bang 43/50.

Hayden Drefke, Intermediate - shot his personal best at Sporting Clays with a 92/100.

Mack Robinson, Senior 1- shot his personal best in Skeet with an 84/100, and Sporting Clays 88/100.

Merry Robinson, Intermediate - shot her personal best in Skeet 52/75, Trap 59/75 and Sporting 77/100.

Ashton Robinson, Senior 1- shot his personal best in Trap with a 90/100.

Award winners are:

Elle Vanderzee, Junior, won HOA in the Junior Ladies Division and the Sportsmanship Award Everly.

Vanderzee, Junior, won 2nd in Whizbang, 3rd in Trap, skeet, and sporting clays.

Brody Moore, Intermediate, won 3rd place Sporting Clays.

Billy Browning, Senior 1, won 3rd place Trap and shot his 1st 25 straight.

Lauren Meier, Senior 1, won 1st place Ladies Whizbang and 1st place Super Sporting.

Kayli Beckham, Senior 1, won the Ladies Senior 1 HOA scoring her personal best in several events.

Coleton Trenkelbach, Senior 2, won 3rd place Skeet.
