Lori Wall, 57, of Bandera, passed away on Sept. 14, 2019 in Bandera, Texas.

She was born in San Antonio, Texas at Lack-land Air Force Base to George and Minnetta Storjohann in August 1962.

Lori attended many schools as her dad was active military. She graduated from Bandera High School. She graduated from the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.

Her first teaching position was at Center Point Elementary School in Center Point, Texas. She then was hired by Bandera I.S.D. and taught at Alkek Elementary for approximately 30 years.

Ms. Wall was a dedicated teacher and advocate for her students. She was respected by her students as well as fellow teachers and parents.

Some of Lori’s fondest memories were her time as a young girl in Alaska.

That is where she fell in love with the moose.

She loved telling stories of family outings in Alaska and especially tales about the family dog.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, George Storjohann.

Lori is survived by her daughter Courtney Wall (Kasey), and John (Debbie) Storjohann, Kay Bell, Minnetta Storjohann, Missy (Sean and Theodore) Verbryck, and Rachelle Storjohann.

A memorial service was held at 5 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 19,2019 at Grimes Funeral Home, with John Storjohann officiating.
