Jeffry Alan Peterson 71 of Bandera, Texas, passed away on September 11, 2022, at Methodist Hospital of San Antonio after a short battle with lung cancer.

He was born June 27, 1951, in San Antonio Texas, a seventh- generation Texan He is survived by Joni Lynn Peterson, best friend and love of his life for 30 years. They met in Pioneertown, California in 1992, where they became instant kindred spirits, married in Las Vegas in 1994, moved back to the Texas he loved in 2001.

Jeffry was a very talented man, worked at Warner Brothers in his early years were he was one of the artist of Wile E Coyote. An artist who shared his Cowboy Art in his studio on Main Street, Bandera, TX, Window’s West Art Studio, back in 2002, and throughout the Flying L Ranch Resort, which he loved.

His artwork is known from California to Texas, even in England. He was also an accomplished singer and guitar musician, loved to jam with the locals at Pops Place, 11th Street Cowboy Bar or wherever they got together. Jeffry never met a stranger, his sense of humor and stories live on through his art work. He will be missed. He is also survived by son Travis James Peterson and his wife Marcy Peterson of Perris, California; brother Tracy Peterson of Knoxville, TN; three grandchildren: Lilly, Kayla and James.
