Emma Jane Garcia, age 73, of Bandera, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2022, in Bandera, Texas. Emma was born on September 2, 1948, in Bandera, Texas, to Effie Jane, and James Oscar Clark.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents: James Oscar Clark, and Effie Jane Strickland; brother: Ray Strickland; and sister: Camille Iness.

Emma is survived by her loving husband: Jesus Garcia; sons: Brian Michael Hewgley (Jeannie), and Shaun Macmillan (Stacy); daughter: Shanna Hewgley; sister: Elizabeth Batto (Raymond); brother: Victor Strickland (Genie); nieces: Toni Batto, and Bernie Batto; and 6 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Hondo Funeral Home.
