Christopher Ernest Frerich passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Herman Henry Frerich, Sr. and Deonne Whitaker on April 17, 1976.

Chris graduated from Bandera High School, class of 1993, and studied at local 142 Plumbing and Pipe-fitting. He was the owner of Crossroads Excavation at the time of his death.

He also was the former project superintendent at REC Industries in San Antonio, Texas, worked at the United Association and was a former plumber at A.J. Monier, also in San Antonio.

Chris Frerich was a member of Western Heritage Cowboy Church.

Chris Frerich is survived by his mother, Deonne Fernandez and husband Pedro, his father, Herman Henry Frerich, Sr. and wife, Brenda, daughter, Kourtney Kathleen Frerich, sons, Christopher Ernest Frerich, Jr. and Tyler James Frerich, stepsister, Elizabeth Morris and husband Faron, brother, Herman Henry Frerich, Jr., and stepbrother, Pedro Fernandez, Jr.

Christopher also is survived by his aunts, Pauline Speckman and husband, Myron, Joyce Marble and husband Harry, Barbara Turner, Barbara Packard and husband, Bill, Mary Katherine Ryan and husband, Eddie John, Debbie Stewart and husband, Alven, cousins, Chuck Mc-Cay and wife, Kelly, Greg McCay, Kevin Jones and wife, Brenda, Kristin Hall, Leanda De donder and husband, Tom, and Shelly Peterson and daughter.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera, Texas, with Cliff Hargrove of Western Heritage Cowboy Church officiating.
