Utopia FFA shines in comps

FFA has hit the ground running since the start of the 2022-2023 school year.

Members have already participated in multiple community service projects, attended District Greenhand Camp and had a successful fundraiser. The LDE teams are also placing high at FFA competitions!

“Our members are dedicated to the community of Utopia and are working hard to keep the Utopia FFA Chapter great,” read a release from the school. “FFA members truly are “Learning to Do. Doing to Learn. Earning to Live. Living to Serve!”

Utopia FFA is AREA BOUND Rodrigo Rios qualified for area competition by placing first in Grenada Spanish Creed. Six students also qualified for area by placing second in Greenhand Quiz: Max Feller, Rodrigo Rios, August Black, Alexis Long, Cheyanne Westbrook and Riley Nunn.

Six students placed third in Senior Quiz: Addion Burgin, Hallie Moore, Brayden Long, Kinsley Cox, Clora Dean and Chloe Matocha.

Cooper Wernette placed fourth in job interview. The trio of Devan James, Dustin Rhodes and Hallie Moore placed fourth in Radio Broadcasting.

Max Feeler took fourth place in Greenhand Creed.

Chloe Chamness placed eighth in Senior Creed.
