Two implicated in murder of man found in Timber Creek

Adrian Guillen and Jesus Hakwins have been implicated in the murder of Michael Moreno and face charges of capital murder, according to the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office.

Reported missing on May 18 and last seen in San Antonio, Moreno’s body was discovered partially decomposed in a field in the TImber Creek subdivision on May 28 and later identified through dental records and missing person reports.

Guillen, 19, was arrested in San Antonio along with two other individuals after robbing a woman at gunpoint in her bedroom on Friday, June 18.

At the time of Guillen’s arrest, there was already an acitve warrant for him from Bandera County for capiial murder.

“We have a detainer on him and will transfer him to Bandera County when Bexar County is done with him,” said Chief Deputy Matt King.

Jesus Hawkins, 22, of San Antonio was also arrested in Bexar County in regards to Moreno’s murder.

Charged with capital murder, Hawkins was transferred to Bandera County Jail last Friday and faces a $3,000,000 bond.
