At the March 28 Commissioners’ Court, Sheriff Dan Butts and EMS Director Shannon Griffin presented their department reports for the month of February. Butts reported that the Sheriff’s Office responded to 517 calls for service and traveled 18,549 miles.Their average response time for priority calls was 15 minutes, 49 seconds.They had 11 felony arrests, 7 misdemeanor arrests, 23 agency assists, and 8 public assists. They investigated 47 property crimes and 93 crimes against persons.They had 53 animal related calls and picked up 1 dog.
